Job Summary

The Site Janitor role is responsible for performing daily janitorial duties in occupied buildings across the BGCAPP site with minimal supervision. This position requires adherence to company policies, initiative, and good judgment while ensuring the quality and safety of services provided. The role also involves operating cleaning equipment, resolving issues in coordination with the supervisor, and performing other tasks as assigned to support the Office Services Manager or O&AS Manager.

Job Description

• Performs the daily janitorial duties in occupied buildings across the BGCAPP site under minimal supervision.
• Adheres to company and department policies and objectives.
• Exercise individual initiative, discretion, diplomacy, accuracy and judgment.
• Interface with supervisor in the resolution of questions or problems that arise.
• May assist in the development of processes and procedures to improve or maintain the quality and safety of
• these services.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Office Services Manager /or O&AS Manager, as requested by other  team members.

• Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Must be proactive, have good organizational skills, use individual initiative, follow assignment through to completion, and be attentive to detail.
  • Ability to work overtime on short notice.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proven record as a team player required.
  • Ability to lift and walk with 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Good safety consciousness and awareness of safety policies and procedures.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior janitorial experience in an operations environment.
  • Knowledge of equipment, products, chemicals and materials to perform job.

Education/Training/Certifications

• Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma and 1 year of relevant experience

Additional Requirements

• Basic Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be a US Citizen (Dual citizenship will subject to approval).
• This is a temporary assignment not lasting longer than 12 months.
• The work hours are from 7:00am – 5:30pm Monday – Thursday or Tuesday - Friday.
• This position may require additional overtime hours as deemed necessary.
