The Marlin Alliance is seeking an enthusiastic
Junior Power BI Developer to join our team supporting Navy clients. In this role, you will work closely with mid-level and senior developers to design and deliver data visualizations, dashboards, and reports, leveraging Microsoft Power BI and Dataverse. This is a fully remote position, but applicants must have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance. Responsibilities - Assist in developing Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to connect, transform, and model data from Dataverse and other data sources.
- Learn and apply best practices for Power BI development, including performance optimization and user-friendly design.
- Support testing, debugging, and maintenance of Power BI solutions.
- Participate in meetings with clients to gather requirements and present progress.
- Document development processes and solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
Required Qualifications - Active or ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or 1+ year of relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, including building reports and dashboards.
- Familiarity with data models, relationships, and Dataverse.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills - Exposure to Power Platform tools like Power Apps or Power Automate.
- Basic understanding of SQL for querying and manipulating data.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications such as PL-900.
Salary Range $70,000–$95,000 annually
