Job Responsibilities * Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting the required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. * Inform customers about companion part requirements and specials, and expose them to the full product line. * Review body shop estimates to ensure parts ordered are correct and pricing aligns with estimates. * Deliver high levels of service to both internal and external customers. * Pull and fill orders from stock. * Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials needing immediate attention. * Locate out-of-stock parts from external sources and submit emergency orders if necessary. * Notify service advisors and customers when special-ordered parts arrive. * Follow up on back-ordered parts. * Verify will-call and back-order files weekly; return or restock items not picked up or required. * Replenish assigned inventory daily. * Ensure all internal parts requests are billed on service repair orders. * Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization. * Ensure all sales charges are signed by customers and that customers receive their invoice copies. * Issue credit for returned parts, verifying the original invoice or number for accuracy. * Maintain orderly records of repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special-order parts. * Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up. * Work with the parts manager to maintain a lost sales tracking program. Job Qualifications: * CDK Preferred * Ability to perform arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
